Dan Beisiegel is the Founder, President, and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Illuminant Capital a premier provider of equity research and investment strategy to institutional asset managers. For over 10 years he has specialized in discovering and trading undervalued stocks over the short and intermediate-term time frames. Mr. Beisiegel graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where he was also a letterman and starting Defensive Back on the University of Oklahoma football team. Shortly thereafter he joined Morgan Stanley's Individual Investor Group where he was awarded the prestigious Financial Advisor Newcomer of the Year.

Since founding Illuminant Capital Mr. Beisiegel has been responsible for the design and development of his patent pending Value Based Trend Management ® (VBTM®) system. Much of Illuminant Capital’s success can be traced to VBTM®, which was inspired by Mr. Beisiegel’s fervent interest in both mathematics and statistical modeling. Currently, Mr. Beisiegel is expanding the scope of VBTM® for its potential uses in other industries including Energy, Basic Materials, and Technology.

In addition to his continuing work on VBTM®, Mr. Beisiegel authors two equity portfolio newsletters, as well as managing Illuminant Capital’s private hedge fund. His Supplemental Growth and Core Equity portfolios have consistently had returns in the top 10% of their respective investment class categories since their inception*. Dan Beisiegel is happily married to his wife of 6 years, LPGA star Isabelle Beisiegel, and the couple presently resides in Norman, Oklahoma.

Skyler Oates is the Vice President and Project Manager for Illuminant Capital a premier provider of equity research and investment strategy to institutional asset managers. For the last 10 years he has been developing important business and leadership skills in both the private and military sectors, specializing in the areas of operations, sales and customer service. He has developed considerable expertise in saving businesses significant amounts of money while applying a detail-oriented and analytical precision to all of his tasks.

Mr. Oates graduated with a degree in Business Management from the University of Oklahoma, and obtained six years of progressively advancing experience in the U. S. Army National Guard. He was promoted to various positions of authority as a noncommissioned officer as he led and trained squadrons of other soldiers. Mr. Oates was decorated for superior performance numerous times during his military career including: the Army Commendation Medal, Oklahoma Commendation Medal, Oklahoma Governor’s Citation, Army Achievement Medal (twice), and the Good Conduct Medal (five).

Currently, Mr. Oates is engaged in the daily and long-term operations of Illuminant Capital, and is charged with business development strategies and implementation for current and other potential core businesses.
